Our must-pack beauty products for vacation is…“Dr. Barbara Sturm, Hyaluronic Serum. It is the absolute best serum for hydration. We fly so often and never travel without it.”
Our favourite destination...“Our favourite holiday destination is Italy, the Amalfi coast in particular. It is the most beautiful coastline and perfect mix of incredible food, sunshine and ocean! We would recommend visiting Conca Del Sogno, you can take a boat out in the morning and swim through the Blue Grotto and then pull up for the most incredible lunch and afternoon wine!”
My must-pack beauty products for vacation are…“The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist and Lanolips balms. I LOVE the mist and I’m always using that and the balm. They aren’t just in-flight must-haves, they are whole trip essentials!”
My favourite destination is…“South Beach at Miami! The water is so warm it feels like a bath there. My favourite place to eat is Mandolin, a chic, small Greek/Turkish restaurant in the Art District.”
My must-pack beauty products for vacation are…“Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face Sunscreen SPF 50+ and black mascara. If that’s all I have when travelling then I can cope. Obviously I’d prefer to have a little more support in my arsenal but those two are my absolute must haves, whatever the scenario.
My favourite holiday destination is…“Kyoto. I’ve just clocked my fourth trip to Japan and every time it has been a pleasure. Last time we were in Kyoto we hired electric bikes, spent the morning enjoying the tranquility of Nazen-ji Temple followed by lunch at Kousagisha, a light filled space with one communal table serving the most delicious vegan food I have ever had. Then we rode back along the Philosophers Path. It was just the kind of slow, special day we needed before heading off to Tokyo.”

My must-pack beauty product for holidays is…“Sunscreen. It’s an essential and I wear it every day. Dermalogica has always been a great go to.
I love a good serum for hydration, it is so important when travelling and La Mer has always been a long-time favourite. I love the La Mer Revitalizing Hydrating Serum—so luxe and so eff ective!
Gyspy Water from Byredo has come with me on many trips. I love a great fragrance to travel with and this one is a beautiful, fresh and interesting blend.”
My favourite holiday destination is…“Saint Tropez. It’s my absolute favourite. A trip to Club 55 is always on the list! It has been there since 1955 on the beautiful Pampelonne beach. You can stay there all day; the restaurant is fantastic, and I always order their famous crudities with champagne. Their shop is next level, it’s like a bazaar with the perfect selection of objects, swimwear, towels and baskets and the way they put colours together is so French. I always feel like wearing colour in St Tropez as the French do it so well, with all the Indian and Mediterranean influences there.”

My must-pack beauty products for vacation are…“For the plane I have a routine of all travel and sample size as I am a huge advocate of walking off the plane looking as fresh as possible. Korres Milk Proteins Cleansing And Makeup Removing Wipes which are so gentle on my skin, Mario Badescu rosewater spritz and Dr Dennis Gross Universal Peel which makes my pores feel so much tighter. If I had to narrow it down to one product it would be my tinted moisturiser Mecca Cosmetica In A Good Light Face Tint with SPF 30 in natural. It’s been a hero product for me for about two years now as it’s lightweight, has SPF and gives me a natural glow.”
My favourite holiday destination is…“Jaipur in India, where we went for a friend’s wedding—at least, that’s my favourite this year! We stayed at the Fairmont hotel which was so beautiful, and although we had little downtime my husband and I went to an elephant sanctuary which rescues elephants and funds from the ticket go to helping them through rehabilitation so that they can return to the wild. I also had my first henna tattoo done during the wedding, and there was also a traditional bangle sculpture creating custom bangles for the guests.”
My must-pack beauty products for vacation is…“Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist to keep our skin fee ling fresh and hydrated. Both Orlagh [Rix’s co-designer] love natural products and taking care of our skin so it looks great on its own. We’re obsessed with Omorovicza!”
My favourite holiday destination is…“Ibiza. It holds a special place in our hearts, being a perfect mix of chill and party and the home of Rixo inspirations. As soon as we touch down in Ibiza we instantly feel more relaxed and inspired. You can’t help but be encompassed by the hippy side of the island. We are big fans of music, fashion and sun and Ibiza has these in abundance.
We spend our days driving round in a convertible Jeep, getting a tan on our favourite beaches and hitting all the local markets and vintage flea fairs. Head to Vicente Ganesha store for great vintage finds, as well as Las Dalias and Sant Jordi flea markets. We love going to the beaches overlooking Es Vedra where the water is crystal clear and the atmosphere is chilled compared some of the other beaches on the island. To end the day, we’ll watch the sunset with drinks and music at Sunset Ashram or Experimental Beach Club. Glitterbox is our favourite for a big night out for its Disco era inspired music—you can’t get us off the dancefloor!”
My favourite beauty product is…“Always moisturiser. For me, I love a rich and creamy moisturiser as I travel so much and spend so much time in the sun. I would also consider a moisturising face mask as I love the extra boost and I probably would do a face mask at least one a week.”
My favourite holiday destination is…“Venice, Italy. There is something so magical about Venice. I think the fact that it’s an island without cars is one of my favourite aspects. I just love wandering through the pretty little laneways and discovering quaint wine bars, there are also museums and art galleries everywhere which is so inspiring for the artist in me!”
My must-pack beauty product for holidays is…“La Mer Renewal Oil and La Mer moisturising Soft Cream to help keep my skin hydrated because after the flight it’s usually very dry.
Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer. It’s amazing at hidin g the huge bags under my eyes and it’s tiny and easy to pop into even the smallest clutch.
I adore the Baume de Rose by Terry. It’s no t sticky, so in windy weather my hair doesn’t cling to my lips! It’s super conditioning and smells beautiful.
After long haul flights with three children under five years old, I look pretty worse for wear. I make sure to travel with a few great beauty essentials to help make myself look human again.
Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian is a delicious and fruity perfume. A few spritz after the flight is necessary.”
My favourite holiday destination is… “London. Everywhere in the world is special, however I have a particular fondness for this city. It’s so vibrant, rich in history, culture and art. The food is amazing, and there is always something exciting happening. When we travel with three kids we have a lot of luggage (an understatement) as you can imagine so I always pack light for myself.”
My must-pack beauty product for vacation are…“The Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser in shade Tawny, is never far from my purse. Whenever I’m not working I like to have something that is light on the skin. When I’m in a humid climate, I make sure I’m using the oil-free version. Before bed, I will use the Perricone MD cold plasma cream. It’s very potent, so perfect for tired and sun exposed skin. And since it’s a 30mL jar, it goes straight into my carry-on!”
My favourite holiday destination is…“Anywhere along the coast of Italy is a real heartthrob. If you’re up for the adventure, take a detour through Bologna on your way to the Amalfi Coast. Bologna is the home of Ragu, and there is nothing quite like a bowl of silky pappardelle made by nonna herself.”
My must-pack beauty product for holidays is…“I like to use a super hydrating masque on the plane since I usually jump off a long-haul flight and straight into a shoot or a meeting.”
My favourite holiday destination is… “Kokomo Island in Fiji [https://www.kokomoislandfiji.com/stay/]. We go at least once a year. It has incredible waterfront villas set against crystal blue water with the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Chef Cory Cambell’s food is not to be missed; he cooks with all the best local organic produce, and the Kids Club is without a doubt, the best in the world!”
Australian-made and one for the carry-on: shop the Go-To Tiny Stuff Set here.
My must-pack beauty product for holidays is…“Sparkly bronze eye shadow which I think lends just the right amount of subtle glamour to any evening look. I eschew any other makeup because I love the healthy glow after just a day or two – that’s the beauty of a summer vacation.”
My favourite holiday destination is…“My heaven on earth is Harbour Island in the Bahamas. Stay at The Dunmore, frolic in the pink sand and head to Sip Sip for the booziest of lunches.”
My must-pack beauty product for holidays are…“YSL Touche Éclat and RMS Living Luminizer.”
My favourite holiday destination is…“The South of France, specifically, a city called Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in between Montpellier and Marseille. I travel a lot and I treasure that place because it’s where I feel at home. It’s very wild and full of ponds, wild animals and horses. My favourite spot there is Mas de la Fouque, an incredible hotel which looks like nothing else, as if it’s emerged from nature. They serve amazing food and the spa is one of the best I have ever tried. From there you can have long walks on the beach or in between the lakes, or go on an unforgettable horse ride. You can also do a day-trip to Arles, a beautiful medieval city and on the way back stop at the restaurant La Chassagnette to enjoy local fresh food straight from their garden.
