A little colour play (and a whole lot of swagger) is all it takes to nail the beauty look of the moment: bold, dramatic eyes—for every day. Makeup artist Victoria Baron brings eyes into focus with a sharp-edged, mermaid-blue hue, amped up with electric blue liner. The secret to this look’s wearability lies in its pared-back partners—barely-there lips and luminous skin.

Using the Kevyn Aucoin Electropop Pro Eyeshadow Palette, blend Hardwire and Impulse shades together and sweep over the eye, focusing the darker hue over the mobile lid. Use the light-green Amp to blend out through the outer corner, creating a graphic shape as you go. Baron's tip? “Use a business card to help stencil a defined edge. I find that ending at the edge of the eyebrow is always the perfect length—this elongates the eye beautifully.”

2

Dial up the intensity by lining eyes with NARS Eyeliner in Khao San Road along the waterline. “What I love about this liner is that it looks super dramatic but it’s super flattering; it intensifies blue and green eyes and brightens brown eyes, too,” says Baron.

To finish, dip back into the Electropop Palette to add a flash of pink (Baron used the Switch and Ultraviolet shades) through the inner corner to open up the eye area—and add a fresh touch of disco realness.
