WATCH: Serve post-iso realness with these ridiculously easy (and colourful) eye looks

As we shed our tie-dye co-ords and slip into something a little less slouchy for our grand entrance into the outside world, we’re whipping out our brightest and boldest palettes to create high-energy, mood-boosting looks to rock over focaccia-filled picnics and rigatoni alla vodka dinner parties. MECCA HQ’s Isabella is delivering on the bright-eyed goods.

First, the brown-eyed beauty reaches for the Morphe X James Charles Palette (one of the most versatile palettes you will ever use) to create an ethereal wash of blue and pink pastels. With a concealed and powdered base to ensure the shades stay all day at their best opacity, Isabella uses her ring finger to blend a shimmery, icy blue into the inner half of her eyes, packing it all over her lid and up into her crease. Then, with a full and fluffy eyeshadow brush, she blends together two pink shades and sweeps it over the outer half of her eyes and into the crease to create an ombre effect. A slick of mascara, and she’s done.

Next comes a blown-out peachy eye, for which Isabella relies on a MECCA staple, the Too Faced Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow Palette. Starting with her finger, Isabella dives into the shade Just Peachy, blending it out all over her lid as a soft-matte base. Then, with a dense brush and a window-wiping motion, she buffs the shade Fresh Picked into her crease, intensifying the look with Peach Punch on almost her entire lid, really saturating the colour closer to her lash line. Soften up the edges with a large fluffy brush and you’re almost there! Add a subtle smoky feel to the look by smudging Fresh Picked and Peach Punch into the lower lash line, and sweep on your favourite mascara.

If you’re feeling a little extra like Isabella, finish off the look with a wash of light-reflecting glow in the form of Jouer’s coveted Powder Highlighter, applied to the brow bone, cheek bones, and to any other high points of your face. Not to take away from the eye, Isabella goes soft and subtle on the lips, using Laura Mercier’s Rouge Essentiel Silky Crème Lipstick in the shade L’Orange on her lips (patted in with her finger) as a velvety lip stain.
