Rated 4 out of 5 by from Yummy bread and melted butter scent with I bought this perfume about three-four weeks ago, but I'm already down to about a third of a bottle. WARNING! This perfume is dangerously delicious, which makes one spray again and again, just to be able to smell the gorgeous buttery-bready concoction on yourself. (I have to keep spraying this at least three times a day, as it doesn't seem to stay long on my skin - checked with my partner, and he had to get pretty close to smell it). I have no qualms of smelling like a sumptuous bakery, but understand that this might not be to everyone's taste. However, I think it would be great as a suitable perfume for evenings at home (where no-one will bat an eyelid if you keep sniffing at yourself repeatedly), or maybe to WeightWatchers meetings ...! I thought Serge Lutens' Chergui was something else, but this is amazing as well, two very different scents, both wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deliciously addictive! I'm SO addicted to this fragrance! It's a cross between a gourmand and woody/spicy which I adore - starts out slightly sweet and warm then develops into the most amazing heady delicious spiciness - the only downfall is in its longevity which seems to only last about and hour or two on me, otherwise I'd give this a 10/10 - a must try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sophisticated perfection This is my 5th Serge Lutens fragrance and I think I am in love. The scent is gourmand, yet still clean and sophisticated. Unfortunately the projection and staying power are not comparable to other scents from the same company, particularly Ambre Sultan. I'm of the opinion however that it is worth reapplying!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jeux de Peau = food love + dark awesomeness I was blown away. I do not usually go goofing off sniffing at fragrances and get ENSLAVED in store. Usually, if I am enchanted by a fragrance, I will put some on my skin, wear it home, and contemplate it for a while before I purchase. With Jeux de Peau, I lasted about half an hour before I HAD TO BUY a bottle. It was not a choice. It was a compulsive need. This is a unique, complex, and inspired fragrance that stole my heart immediately. My first experience of this scent started as a sweet, coconut-ty smell (but more complex than mere coconut) that quickly shifted to cocoa, then coffee. It made me think of milk, sugar, and wandered back to coffee. Then to caramel. I understand that this is a translation of the yeasty-good early fresh bread baking experience, it is impossible for me to say "this smells like bread". It smells like warm food heaven, but sophisticated, dark and sensual. I think that in terms of really strong notes, sandalwood and amber sit underneath all the burnt caramelly-spicey goodness, carrying the sweet into darker territory as the scent wears on. What is interesting is that it really is a game on the skin - the fragrance shifts and I notice different elements at different intervals. The scent wears well over time with reasonable sillage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Signature scent This scent is something else entirely, I'm not even sure how to describe it. It's spicy and sweet, woodsy but cozy. It makes me feel as though I've been hiking through a forest all day and now I'm curled up in a leather armchair in front of the fire with a glass of brandy. Have to agree with the other commenters, the second I smelled this I was hooked and never wanted to wear another scent. I even went back into the store three times just to retry it before I could afford a bottle. This is a very unusual, unique perfume, so if you're sick of generic floral scents and want something more interesting, try this on for size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wow What a find this fragrance is. Don't dismiss its gourmand sweetness. Wait a while and you'll find the most incredible and evocative scent has developed. It's warm and comforting but complex. At times it reminds me of delicious pastries, chocolate and then hours later, other enigmatic traces arise out of nowhere, something balsamic and woody. An unconventional fragrance, but a friendly one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My number 1 fragrance I was in love with the Serge Lutens range, particularly 5 o clock. However, when I smelt Jeux De Peau, I literally melted. It is truly beautiful. It smells instantly like a french bakery and then it settles into the most amazing scent. I purchased this yesterday and am so happy I did! I recommend this to anyone who is sick of conventional and traditional perfumes. This is a winner and will be my signature fragrance ;)
