NARS reimagines their iconic Orgasm blush for lips and cheeks

This month, NARS Orgasm reinvents itself yet again (as icons tend to do), lending its hue to some irresistible new items that will have devotees ordering in multiples.

With its exquisite, widely admired and universally flattering shade of peachy-pink, and a name that’s impossible to forget, Orgasm has long enjoyed holy grail status. Created by Francois Nars in 1999, this best-selling cheek colour has garnered legions of fans, inspired a number of spin-offs and—unlike other 90s icons—hasn’t strayed from the limelight since. “I never anticipated Orgasm becoming so successful,” Nars told us, “I just follow my instinct and create shades that I love. It just happened that NARS fans fell in love with the name and the colour.”

And why should your cheeks have all the fun? Now there’s even more ways to love this cult-status blush. First up, there’s an Illuminating Loose Powder that blends seamlessly onto skin adding iridescence to your cheekbones, blurring imperfections in its tracks. It can also be used to add colour to your lids and dimension to your collarbones, because it’s good like that. Then there’s the Afterglow Lip Balm that sold out in less than a day in the US—and is almost gone here—for adding just-bitten colour to your pout in a swipe. It’s the same one used backstage at the Alexander Wang show on the likes of Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber to achieve It-girl perfection. And, for when you’re feeling flush, there’s an oversized version of the original blush that should satisfy even the most diehard fans ... at least for a little while, anyway. We just can’t get enough.
