Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Packaging This highlighter is so subtle that it's almost matte. I was a little confused by it honestly and I didn't notice very much glow. I'm super fair and the lightest shade is quite dark so I can't build it up too much or else it is visible on my skin. I don't see the point in building up my highlighter for 30 minutes to get a nice glow when I can just use a more pigmented one straight up, but if you're into natural and subtle makeup then this may work for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST BLUSH I have this in Rose Gold and it is stunning! I first got this in my last beauty loop box and I had to buy the bigger version! It has gold specks through the rose gold powder and I’m in love! Will be buying this over and over. Great for a natural blush shade

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Gold Highlighter This is such a great gold highlighter. Very buildable! I find 1 application is enough (with fan brush for subtle glow). For more blind glow a highlighter brush works well. ! Looks powdery when swatched but applied with a brush its beautiful. On par with Becca Champagne Pop/Prosceco Pop but much more affordable

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Subtle glow I found for a highlighter - it doesn't have the wow factor I like. Instead, i've been using it on top of my blush and it gives it that extra bit of pop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from everyday glow, and a buildable blinding light I purchased solid gold a month or two ago, and I actually really love the packaging! It's really cute, and the mirror inside is good, too. I found that on my skin tone it showed as a dewy, sunset day kind of glow which I really enjoyed. Not too glittery, beautiful sheen. For more of a blinding highlight, I mix it with white-gold which definitely needs a bit of building up, but it's fine with me for natural every day wear, and on nights where I want to blind everyone with my highlight, I just build it up. Definitely worth it for the price, but my only issue is that it is quite fragile, and it should definitely be handled with care.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect For An Everyday Natural Look Whilst this isn't a wham bam in your face highlighter, it's perfect if you're going for a more natural look but still want enviable cheekbones. It glides on beautifully and it's just about impossible to over apply, and you can layer it as much as needed without the fear of over applying. It also works great as a eye shadow base, or even as a setting powder if you want to glow. I wouldn't say it's pigmented enough for a night time going out look, but as an every day highlighter it's perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A lovely glow While I like this highlighter, it's not amazing and there are many better highlighters on the market. The overall theme with Mecca Max is that the quality is good for the price - good but not amazing. If you're on a budget and cannot afford many of the other more expensive brands at Mecca, this is a good option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably the best highlighter I own! I bought this in store just about a month ago, and since then it has been my go to every single day. Even when I go to put my other highlighters on, I always end up picking this one up and putting a little bit over the top of my other ones. I love the finish of this, it's not at all glittery, but still gives that gorgeous glow! Definitely buildable for those nights where you want to blind everyone around you, but subtle enough to wear on the daily. Doesn't look cakey at all, and stays on all day.

better than becca champagne pop?

Asked by: Simmmyyy
These aren't even close to the Becca formula. They are more matte and subtle but buildable while Becca is shimmery and a little goes a long way. If you're tossing up between the two then I would recommend going with Becca.

What colour would you recommend for light-medium yellow toned skin?

Asked by: Mia776
If you are more on the medium side solid gold would be perfect. But you could get away with a smaller amount of white gold. But the highlighters are lighter than what they look like in the photos on this website.

is it a blinding highlighter

Asked by: honey you arent hit
On immediate application it is more of a softer sheen. But you can definitely build it up to be extremely blinding.
