Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Love Love Every time I wear this primer - someone comments on how good my skin looks. It leaves my skin with a youthful glow and a small amount goes a long way. Im using the primer in the colour mood light

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I had hoped I tried this after using Mineral Veil and don’t believe the two compare. I didn’t find this to provide a smooth base and the shade just seemed to dull my skin (perhaps I just made a poor choice though and may look great on others).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good but so expensive Got a sample of this product and absolutely fell in love with it. It makes your skin look so glowy and angelic, as well as smoothing skin and providing a great base for foundation. Only problem is that it's quite pricey, but otherwise it's perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from There's better primers out there This was OK as a primer/base but I don't think it did much complexion correcting for me. I do love Hourglass products so it pains me to say this .... but for the price, I don't think it is worth it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Hourglass winner I have both Dim Light and Mood Light and I use a pea sized amount every day. They even my complexion where any shallowness has crept in and even out any redness. I didn't think I would love these as much as I do, but I'm going to have to purchase more when I run out. Another product from Hourglass that I simply cannot be without!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mood Light is terrible I got a sample of Mood Light and got it was horrible. I love the Hourglass Veil primer so much, its probably HG for me but THIS one was so bad. With or without a moisturiser under it, it balls up. It sits on top of the skin like a heavy cakey mess and does not work well with any foundation. So happy I never payed for full size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not really worth it Considering the pricepoint, it isn't really worth it. Occasionally left my foundation with a cakey finish which doesn't happen with my other primers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HG! Got mood light in a beauty loop box and fell in love with it and bought the full size! Sits nicely on my dry skin and the colour compliments my extremely fair complexion. When I use this with Nars Sheer Glow... words cannot describe! The foundation blends so nicely into the skin and my makeup lasts all day. If you can, get a sample and try it out!

Which shade would be best to cancel out redness?

Asked by: Grace123
I would say any of them except mood light. Luminous light if you are pale and dim light if you are tan.

What are the key differences between these primers and the Houglass Mineral Veil? Thanks :)

Asked by: StephEA
Hey :) I have this primer in Mood Light (pink hued) and the mineral veil (which I really love). They both provide a really smooth and velvet-y canvas to apply makeup on, and I'd say the key difference is that this one blurs imperfections a little bit better. But that could be due to the fact that Mood Light is slightly tinted whilst the mineral veil goes on almost clear. Hope this helps! Instagram @beautloves
