1 INFLUENTIAL STREET STYLE BLOG. 4 CAMERAS. 10 MINUTES TO GET READY. There’s something about street-style photographer Liz Sunshine. Make that a few things. She has an innate style radar that enables her to spot a killer look from a block away (“often I’ve had to chase someone down the street, so sneakers are definitely part of my uniform!”), a genuine ability to chat with just about anyone, and a sunny disposition that well and truly lives up to her surname. Yet when it comes to posing, she’s not so sunny. “I don’t do well with peacocking,“ she admits. “I love the idea of candid. I’ll snap someone if I think they have a great outfit but I’ll move on before they’ve finished posing.” We’re long-time fans of Liz’s digital style portfolio Street Smith, now one of the most-referenced street-style sites in the country, and challenged her to work both sides of the camera to produce her own self-portrait series for this story. The MECCA #skinfluencer also gave us her professional take on style: on the street, in the beauty cabinet, and at home (which she shares with husband and street-art photographer Dean and their son Harry).
