Yes, we’re excited too. Here’s a glimpse of the shoot – photographed by founder and creative director of NARS himself, François Nars – which is inspired by “‘70s rock and roll era” with Bella playing a very Patti Smith-esque beauty alongside Justin Gossman who’s striking looks resemble the singer’s one-time photographer boyfriend Robert Mapplethorpe. (Or are we just imagining that?). NARS cast Bella in the campaign because she’s "modern and edgy – perfectly embodying the spirit of the brand." "For me choosing a model is a part of the making of cosmetics; it’s part of the creative process. The model brings the product to life. I love Bella,” says François Nars. “She has a very strong and powerful look.” And incredible reach, with Instagram 13.6 million followers and counting. Bella’s a huge fan of NARS, both the brand and the man himself. “I love the foundations, which provide great coverage and the insane eyeshadow colours,” she said. “François has such beautiful energy. He’s taken so many iconic photographs so for me to have the opportunity to work with him was a dream come true!” Consisting of metallic eyeshadows, sexy eyeliner and a pretty flush of blush, The Fall Colour Collections – as worn by Bella in the image above - is available in-store and online at the end of August. When she’s off camera Bella says her makeup routine consists of “beautiful glowy skin, a gold eye, and long, thin eye liner.” And while she may be renowned for her stunning looks, she says beauty is more than skin deep. “My definition of beauty is being strong and confident, from the inside out.
