Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant range, does exactly what it says it does I've been using this, the Vit C serum, the Retro cream and the Shabu Eye cream and I love all of it. This was one of the first purchases from this range and I have not been disappointed. I was convinced to purchase this instead of the Sunday Riley Good Genes - which I was about to buy my third bottle and feeling it wasn't giving me the results I used to get. The very obliging SA gave me a sample of this and the Vit C and I was back within the week to purchase. My skin feels soft and smooth and it glows. I feel like this range exfoliates and moisturises, and has helped my skin be the best it has been in years. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm a fan I've used lots of acid exfoliating products but this is quite different and special. My skin is tolerant so it doesn't cause any tingling or discomfort but it has left my skin feeling smooth in a short period of time. I usually follow it up with a hydrating serum, retinol serum and lala whipped cream. Love it, I will repurchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Fantastic product that gives instant results overnight. AHAs at the right pH and truely is effective, my go to exfoliator. If you have sensitive skin use only 1 to 2 times a week or it will make your skin red and irritated if overused.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its working! I bought this nearly a month ago and i noticed changes on my skin. Not a huge improvement yet, but my skin feels good without having to invest in products with harmful ingredients. I am using the skin firma as well and will definitely be repurchasing both again. Give Drunk Elephant a try and see it yourself!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Redness and Bumps I have oily sensitive skin which is an absolute nightmare so when I went in to Mecca to get an anti ageing treatment I decided to grab a sample of this before deciding to purchase it - I am SO HAPPY that I got a sample because it has been a really long time since something has reacted so badly with my skin so quickly. It didn't tingle when it went on (like some have suggested) and the first night I used it I used half the amount suggested just in case I had a reaction to it. However, I woke up in the morning with bumps all over the lower half of my face - which I could feel straight away. When I went to the mirror to have a look my skin had a reddish colour to it (which is extremely weird for my olive skin). The weird thing is that the areas that seemed the most negatively impacted by this product also seemed to be the areas that aren't usually sensitive. I wouldn't go as far as to say I wouldn't recommend this product - but I would absolutely recommend that you try a sample first (and try it over night when you have nothing on the next day) to make sure that you don't have an allergic reaction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved appearance I did see improvement after about a week or so of use - smaller pores and clearer skin. But I also used other new products at the same time so I wasn't sure if I could attribute it all to just this one product. So I went through a process of elimination and I now know for sure that this product has improved the appearance of my skin and doesn't cause irritation. I'm on the second bottle and i don't think i need to experiment with other products anymore. That said, just because it works for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Growing on me I was very reluctant to use this as I'd had a horrible reaction from the Alpha H Liquid Gold, and thought my skin hated acids in general. I've been using this on alternate nights and it seems to have a very gentle effect on my skin. I've recently updated my skincare so I don't know if this alone is making a difference, but I'm certainly not reacting to it badly. It feels gentle enough to use every evening, and doesn't have any nasties in it, which is a big winner. It's pricey, but I think those who are looking to update/renew their skincare routine will enjoy it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok, but not great. I bought this product a couple of months ago. When I first started using it I was amazed by how smooth it made my skin feel the next day after using it. However, I haven't seen any long lasting effects from using this product and for the price I expected a lot more. I don't have many problem areas with my skin except for the occasional breakout and it didn't make my skin worse or better. Overall I think it's a nice product but isn't worth the price. I have used cheaper alternatives in the past that have worked better. I would definitely recommend grabbing a sample before committing to the full size and price.

Would this be suitable for a 12 year old with major breakouts?

Asked by: Martini
You would be better off taking your child to a doctor/dermatologist. It's an expensive product with active ingredients that may not be suitable for such young skin.

Mecca, will you be adding Baby Facial and the DE sunscreen to the range available in Australia?

Asked by: Danijac
We will not be ranging the Drunk Elephant Baby Facial or the Umbra Sheer Physical Sunscreen.

How long would this product last, with daily usage?

Asked by: Sara345
I have been using this for 3+ months and still have some left. I use it nightly and only use one pump. However, it can vary depending on how much product you're using etc.

Can this be used with Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel? I use the peel about 3 times a week during the day. If I use this at night, will it be too much for the skin?

Asked by: Sagunthalai
I think that would over-exfoliate the skin... (Over-exfoliating also triggers inflammation in the skin and weakens the barrier function. If the barrier function is damaged, skin becomes vulnerable to infection from microorganisms, such as bacteria and fungus, and leads to sensitivity and irritation. Even if the barrier function isn’t visibly damaged, the skin may experience a low amount of inflammation (called chronic inflammation), which over time prematurely ages the skin.

Am I meant to apply a moisturiser/oils etc over the top of this serum or just leave it on my skin alone? And is it best used every night, or more like 2-3 times a week as a treatment? Thanks :)

Asked by: Lola13
I'd say put a moisturiser on anyway. The serum is super light and probably won't deliver the hydration your skin still needs after using an active serum.

Hey Anne. My younger cousin who is 19 uses it. Finds it fantastic. I'm 23 and love it. Ask for a sample in store is my go to suggestion.

I'm absolutely devoted to Good Genes (Sunday Riley) - but I'm curious about this product. How do the 2 compare?

Asked by: nicscorbett
I have used both products and I think I prefer the drunk elephant night serum. Only because it worked a lot faster. The texture of skin changed over night.
